Drawn to the architectural quality in skeletons, ting modeled a creature inspired by polycephaly, a condition where an animal grew more than one head. They also explored other art-making methods such as photography and digital collages in the process. This body of work was shown in various group exhibits and cultural gatherings in 2019 and 2022.

Process

My main objective is to experiment with new techniques in producing these sculptures. The several stages of experimentation are:

  (1) form studying of skeletons;

  (2) interpretative modeling of a two-headed snake skeleton;

  (3) 3D printing and post-print processing;

  (4) installation
